Q 2 - I am an experienced candidate in some other field having 2-3 years of experience but I want to shift to the testing field. Please suggest me if I shifted to testing field, can I get good job in this field?
Ans– The first important thing to opt testing career is that it needs passion and a keen interest in this field. You cannot join this field just because of that there is no programming in this field. You should be more logical than a developer at the time of testing the application because you are going to find the defects in developer’s work by testing the application. Since that you were in different field you have the art of getting to the core concepts on the flow of any process and this will really help you in understanding the flow of project. We Would suggest you to be skilled on software process and more of testing process, any automated tool knowledge will definitely help. Give a shot in this testing world and hope you can grove in.
Q3- What should be the academic background to be a software testing?
Ans - Academic background of a software tester should be in Computer Science. BTech/ B.E., MCA, MSC- IT, BCA, MSC –IT, BSc- Computers, any Post Graduate Diploma will be good enough for grabbing a job in software testing. If by any reason you do not hold any of these technical degrees then you must complete a software testing certification like ISTQB and CSTE which help you learn SDLC/ Test Life Cycle and other testing methodologies.
Q 4 - I have no exposure in programming languages so in that case is it possible for me to make my career in software testing?
Ans - For Black Box testing, programming skill is not mandatory. You can make career in software testing without the knowledge of programming language. But if you want to opt white box testing then programming knowledge will be a mandatory skill. Apart from this Software Testing requires different skill set such as logical mind, good listening abilities, attention for details and ability to think like a product user. The last and more important thing is that you should be focused on requirements every time because everything starts from requirement for a tester.
Q 5 – Is Manual and automation testing knowledge mandatory for getting a job in Software testing?
Ans - If you are starting your career in Software testing field then first you should have the knowledge about manual testing then you can go for the Automation testing. I will suggest you to go for manual testing course first. Then grab a job in manual testing, once you are comfortable with manual testing then you can learn automation testing. In industry 70% of the testing composes of manual testing only.
Q 6 - What about projects and hands on practice?
Ans - We have projects which will be executed from end to end by the students from SDLC point of view. Students will perform all the testing activities on the project similarly the actual testing professionals perform in an organization. So if you are practicing for every phase of the project as per the guidance of trainer, definitely you will realize that you are learning.
Q7 - Who will be the faculties for the course? Where do you teach and what are the timings?
Ans - Our faculties are industry working professionals having more than 6+ years of experience. We are not the commercial institute. We provide only weekend batches. Timings would depend on batch. We do not have any fancy infrastructure and decorated front desks but we promise to provide knowledge based on current industry practice. We will simulate the actual live projects in our class rooms.
Q8: What is the duration of each course?
Ans- Below is the duration details: Software Testing (Manual Testing + Basics of Automation) – 8 weeks (Sat & Sun, 2 hours Class each day) Advanced Automation using QTP – 8 to 10 weeks (Sat & Sun, 2 hours Class each day) Selenium WebDriver - 6 to 8 weeks (Sat & Sun, 2 hours Class each day) In short we will try to finish any course in 10 weekends.

Ans- Once you will enroll with our program we will add you in our software testing group. For this group we always send the testing job alerts on daily basis. On those alerts you can send your resume or you can directly talk to the concern person for the current opening. This service will be available to you for life time and free of cost. Most of our students get placed before they finish their course. We do not guarantee any placement but will provide you the best training and guidance to crack the interview. We will also train you for interviews and will include how to answer difficult questions including the HR interviews.
